Bangladeshi Children Receive Warm Clothing

In the chilly winter months of December and January, temperatures in Bangladesh can drop to around 10 °C. For children living in unheated tin shelters in urban slums, this brings discomfort and serious health risks. Thanks to generous donations, children at the Chalantika Educational Centre received warm hoodies with the ADRA logo, helping them stay healthy, confident, and ready for school.

Winter in Bangladesh may be mild compared to many countries, but for children living in unheated tin shelters, the cold can be harsh. To help, the Chalantika Educational Centre distributed warm clothing – stylish hoodies with hoods and the ADRA logo.

The children were thrilled, and their excitement was infectious. Thirteen-year-old Ria said: "I am so happy to receive this warm clothing. Before, I didn’t have anything to keep me warm, so this will really help me this winter."

What may seem like a simple gesture actually has a big impact. It provides essential protection against the cold, boosts children’s confidence, and encourages them to attend school regularly. At the same time, it eases the financial burden on families who often cannot afford warm clothing for their children.

Most importantly, thanks to your support, these children can stay healthy and focus on what matters most – their education.

We sincerely thank all our donors for making this possible.
