The Ganga Expedition was a success
Gold for the children of the Chalantika slum
The Ganga Expedition is successfully over, and so is the whole fundraising campaign. What a ride, or rather a voyage!
We are proud to present to you the winning order of all the participants:
- The children of Chalantika slum!
- The donors of Expedition Ganga!
- Olympic athlete Vávra Hradílek!
This is the order of the winners at the finish line of Expedition Ganga 2022. And just as the Ganga has many river arms and streams, the children from Chalantika have received funds not only through the donation appeal on Darujme.cz, but also directly to the ADRA bank account. The total sum as of 31.12.2022 is 302 093 Czech Crowns which is approximately 12640 euros!
From Ganga river to the movie screen
The premiere of Expedition Ganga took place on 25.11.2022 in the welcoming venue of Kayak Beach Bar. The atmosphere in the hall was full of emotions, strong impressions, but also filled with adventure. The Vavra Challenge definitely made history for the humanitarian organization ADRA and for helping the slum children of Chalantika. And judging by the enthusiastic faces of the audience and the relevant questions, it also made its way into our hearts.

The atmosphere of the whole meeting was enriched by aromas and fantastic dishes from Bangladeshi cuisine by Hurry Curry restaurant. After a stimulating and lively discussion, the highlight of the program was the final prize giveaway drawing with the names of donors who won valuable prizes, such as training with Olympic medalist Vávra, a photo book We the Children of Slum or Vávra's autographed photos from the Ganga Expedition.
However, we are the happiest for all the children at the Chalantika Education Centre and their enthusiastic commitment to their studies. And this all is mainly possible thanks to you, our dear supporters!
